Terms of Service

Last updated 16 July 2026

The rules of using SurgoClub — what you can expect from us, what we expect from you, and how EXP and wallet rewards actually work. We've kept it readable on purpose.

1. This agreement

These terms are the agreement between you and Ecosystem Growth Partners Limited, Nairobi, Kenya (“SurgoClub”, “we”, “us”) covering the SurgoClub website, your account, and everything in the member dashboard. By creating an account or using the platform, you accept them.

If you do not agree with something here, please do not use SurgoClub — and tell us why at support@surgoclub.com. How we handle your personal information is set out separately in our Privacy Policy.

2. Who can join

You must be 18 or over to have a SurgoClub account. If you are using SurgoClub on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you are allowed to accept these terms for it.

You may hold one account. Signing up repeatedly to collect a reward more than once is the specific thing this rule exists to stop.

3. Your account

  • Give us accurate details when you sign up, and keep them current. You will need to verify your email address before your account becomes active.
  • Your login is yours. Keep your password to yourself, and tell us promptly if you think someone else has got into your account.
  • You are responsible for what happens under your account, including any rewards claimed through it.

4. What it costs

Joining SurgoClub is free, and taking the courses is free. We do not charge you, and we do not ask for a card. If that ever changes, we will tell you first.

You are responsible for your own costs in getting here: your device, your internet connection, and any data charges.

5. Using SurgoClub properly

Please do not:

  • Create more than one account, or create accounts for people who do not exist.
  • Game progress or EXP — scripting lesson completions, automating quiz answers, or otherwise claiming credit for work you did not do.
  • Share, resell, republish or mirror course content. It is for your own learning, not for redistribution.
  • Scrape the platform, hammer it with automated requests, or try to get at data that is not yours — including other members’ private details.
  • Probe, break, or work around the platform’s security or access rules.
  • Post anything unlawful, hateful, harassing, or deceptive, or impersonate anyone else.

6. EXP, achievements and the leaderboard

EXP is earned by completing lessons and finishing courses, and it ranks you on the leaderboard. We publish how every point is earned, and we would rather change the rules in the open than quietly.

EXP is not money. It has no cash value, it is not a currency or a token, you cannot buy it, sell it, transfer it or withdraw it, and it is not property. We may adjust the EXP rules, and we may correct or remove EXP and achievements that were obtained by breaking the rules above.

Your name, avatar and EXP appear on the leaderboard to other members. That is the point of a leaderboard — if you would rather not appear on it, the way out is to not earn EXP, or to close your account.

7. Rewards and wallet payouts

Some achievements can be claimed for a reward paid into a partner wallet. Here is how that actually works, in plain terms:

  • A claim is a request, not an instant payout. Our team reviews it and pays it out manually. Each reward can be claimed once per member.
  • We may reject a claim — most often where a claim looks like reward farming, where the underlying progress was not genuinely earned, or where the account is under moderation.
  • Rewards are discretionary. We may change what is on offer, or stop offering rewards, at any time. Claims already fulfilled are not clawed back.
  • Rewards are not wages, and claiming one does not make you an employee, contractor or agent of SurgoClub.

The wallet handle you link is your responsibility. We check that a handle is well-formed; we cannot check that it belongs to you. If you link the wrong handle, the reward is paid to whoever owns it, and a payout cannot be reversed or reissued. Please check it before you claim.

The wallet is a third-party product with its own terms. We do not operate it, we cannot recover funds inside it, and we cannot help you if you lose access to it. Any taxes on a reward are yours to handle.

8. Education, not financial advice

SurgoClub teaches emerging technology, including crypto. Everything on the platform is educational. None of it is financial, investment, legal or tax advice, and nothing on SurgoClub is a recommendation to buy, sell or hold any asset.

Crypto assets are volatile and you can lose everything you put in. Decisions you make with your own money are yours, and you should get advice from someone licensed to give it.

9. Content and ownership

The courses, lessons, text, video, artwork, branding and code on SurgoClub belong to us or to our licensors. We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use them to learn, for as long as your account is open. That licence does not let you copy, resell or republish them.

Anything you post — your profile, your feedback — stays yours. You give us permission to host and display it as part of running the platform. If you send us an idea for how to improve SurgoClub, we may act on it without owing you anything for it.

10. Warnings, suspension and closing accounts

If an account breaks these terms, we may warn it, suspend it, or remove it. We aim to match the response to what happened — a warning first where a warning is enough, and suspension where it is not. You will be able to see a warning or suspension on your account.

Serious cases — fraud, reward farming at scale, attacks on the platform, or anything unlawful — can mean immediate removal without a warning, including forfeiting unclaimed rewards.

You can close your account whenever you like, for any reason or none. See the Privacy Policy for what happens to your data afterwards.

11. Availability and changes

SurgoClub is provided as it is. We work to keep it up and accurate, but we do not promise it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any particular course will stay available. We may add, change or retire features.

We may update these terms. When we do, we will change the date at the top, and for material changes we will tell you rather than leave you to find out. Continuing to use SurgoClub after a change means you accept the updated terms.

12. Liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, SurgoClub is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, for lost profits, or for losses arising from your own investment decisions, from a third-party wallet, or from a wallet handle you entered incorrectly.

Nothing here limits liability that cannot legally be limited — including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Kenya.

If any part of these terms turns out to be unenforceable, the rest still stands.
